The Anderson School of Music is looking for a piano teacher for Mondays and Fridays beginning July. Availability to sub on other days is a plus. This is a long-term position, not a summer job.

Our ideal candidate is a piano teacher who is an expert at playing the instrument and can effectively communicate high level musicianship and technique to their students. Your students will primarily be between the ages of seven and fifteen.

All lessons are taught in person at our well-equipped Los Gatos location. Punctuality and attendance are extremely important. Starting pay for a teacher with a music degree or equivalent experience is $42 per hour with a potential raise after a 30-day assessment period.

At The Anderson School our teachers only need to teach. Our dedicated admin staff handles scheduling make up lessons, new student sign-ups and all communication with our clients. We have a homework/tv area if you need to occasionally have your school-aged child come to work with you. Teachers can use the practice spaces of our school for their own rehearsal needs when lessons are not in session.

Monday: 3:00 - 7:30
Friday: 3:00 - 7:30
