Outside Sales Representative – Building Products

Mastercraft Products is seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to support and grow our expanding portfolio of wood products, moulding, millwork, windows, and doors . This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives in a relationship-driven environment and has a strong understanding of building materials and the construction process.

This position offers a competitive base salary along with uncapped commission opportunities tied to sales performance. Compensation structure will be customized to reflect the experience and strengths of the selected candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with contractors and customers
• Prepare and manage plan take-offs, bids, and quotes with accuracy and efficiency
• Interpret blueprints and complete detailed takeoffs
• Provide prompt, knowledgeable, and solution-oriented customer service
• Serve as a trusted resource by offering expert guidance on materials, pricing, and product applications
• Conduct job-site visits to support project needs and strengthen customer relationships
• Coordinate deliveries and credit pick-ups with dispatch to ensure seamless execution
• Track and manage customer project progress from bid to completion
• Stay current on product offerings, pricing, and installation methods, and communicate updates to customers
• Represent Mastercraft Products at industry events and networking opportunities
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, productivity, and service quality

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of B2B sales experience required (construction supply industry preferred)
• Experience with trim and moulding strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of construction materials, building processes, and local codes
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with excellent time management and prioritization abilities
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Strong relationship-building skills and a willingness to learn and grow
