About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President and Chief Nursing Informatics Officer (CNIO) to serve as a strategic leader at the intersection of nursing, clinical operations, and enterprise IT. The successful candidate will be a relationship-driven nursing informatics leader with the ability to influence change across clinical and operational domains. This role requires a professional with a master’s degree in a relevant field, an active RN license, and a minimum of ten years of experience in nursing, healthcare operations, IT, or clinical informatics. The CNIO will be responsible for ensuring that digital solutions enhance the clinician experience, patient safety, and care delivery, and will lead the implementation of innovative clinical information solutions that advance frontline care and performance improvement. Key responsibilities for the CNIO include serving as the enterprise nursing informatics executive, providing system-level leadership for nursing informatics strategy, and partnering with executive leadership to represent the clinical voice within IT governance. The role also involves leading nursing governance and optimization efforts for electronic health records, advancing mobile-first clinical communication, and guiding the use of emerging technologies to improve efficiency and reduce administrative burden. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of regulatory and compliance standards, the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, and a proven track record of fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. They will be a change leader, capable of building consensus and driving the adoption of new technologies and workflows in a highly collaborative environment.
