About the Role:
Join PHILLYWIDE as a Trash Truck Driver CDL with 2 years of experience! This exciting role offers you the chance to make a difference in your community while driving a vital service that keeps our neighborhoods clean and safe.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive a trash truck safely and efficiently on designated routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
• Collect and dispose of waste materials from residential and commercial customers.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and report any issues or concerns promptly.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding waste disposal.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck interior and exterior.
• Assist in training new drivers as needed and promote a team-oriented environment.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with the public during pickups.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience, preferably with waste management.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the waste industry.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Familiarity with GPS systems and route planning.
