Introduction

We are seeking an experienced developer to join our Order Management engineering organization. This role is tailored for someone who thrives in complex enterprise ecosystems and consistently demonstrates engineering excellence. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and enhancing solutions on the IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) platform.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7 years of hands-on IBM Sterling OMS development/implementation experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in OMS functional and technical areas, particularly around orchestration workflows and core OMS modules.
• Strong hands-on development skills in Core Java (modern Java versions; advanced concepts preferred).
• Strong experience with RESTful services, JSON, and integration patterns.
• Solid working knowledge of SQL and data troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated commitment to code quality and unit testing (e.g., JUnit/Mockito or equivalent testing frameworks).
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across teams.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Spring Boot or similar frameworks for building supporting services.
• Experience with transformations such as XSL (where applicable in OMS customizations).
• Familiarity with containerized development concepts (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD fundamentals.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance solutions on the IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) platform.
• Work on business-critical order management capabilities that support end-to-end commerce journeys.
• Configure and extend OMS core modules, implement customized flows and integrations.
