Job Title Radiology Assistant (Full-Time) Responsibilities Assist the Imaging Manager by taking medical histories, positioning patients for exams, coordinating patient flow with nursing units, transporting patients, and ensuring safety standards are met. Register patients at the front desk, handle phone calls and facsimiles, maintain equipment and exam rooms, and keep work areas neat to ensure safe conditions. Perform other duties as assigned. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association. Two (2) years of prior experience in a medical environment preferred. Skills Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Proficiency in arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Knowledge of and compliance with all regulatory bodies, e.g., The Joint Commission and American College of Radiology (ACR) guidelines. Knowledge of PC and applications.
