Job Title and Location Full‑Time Monitor Tech (Alton Memorial – 1 Memorial Drive, Alton, IL) Shift Day Shift 7:00 AM–7:00 PM Role Purpose Assists with long‑term monitoring vital to patient care in the observation of patients with cardiac arrhythmia, suspected arrhythmia, drug intervention per floor with need for observation, and potential life‑threatening cardiac events. Initiates first response and responder to at‑risk patients. Responsibilities Supports and demonstrates continuous improvements of quality and service. Observes, reports, and documents patient‘s cardiac rhythm. Ensures that cardiac monitoring equipment is functioning appropriately. Education & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (minimum requirement) Preferred: 2+ years of experience in cardiac monitoring Experience No prior experience required.
