Maintenance Technician I

Utah Olympic Park – Park City, UT

The Utah Olympic Park in Park City, UT is hiring a Maintenance Tech I to help keep a world-class venue running safely and smoothly year-round. This is a hands-on role with room to grow and the chance to gain experience across a wide variety of facilities and infrastructure. Your work directly impacts guests, athletes, and staff every day. Schedule, Pay & Benefits

  • Full-time, year-round position, typically 40 hours/week
  • With the Park open all week there is potential for a flexible work week
  • Open to working weekends and being available on holidays as needed.
  • Pay starts at $21/hour

Job Requirements

Must-haves:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to work hard and take on physical tasks
  • Coachable mindset and interest in growing in facilities maintenance

Nice-to-haves:

  • Basic maintenance or construction experience (commercial or residential)
  • Snow removal equipment experience (truck/plow, skid steer, etc.)
  • Familiarity with hand/power tools and safe work practices
  • Ability to troubleshoot common facility issues (lighting, minor repairs, etc.)

Day in the Life

You’ll experience two distinct seasons at the Park: Winter and Summer. In winter, you’ll help keep our 400-acre venue clear and accessible for guests, athletes, and staff by clearing snow with everything from a shovel to a plow truck. As operations continue, you’ll support projects across the Park, maintaining office buildings, the museum, race infrastructure, on-site residences, and more. In summer, you’ll shift toward other infrastructure improvements as we prepare for upcoming winter sport competitions such as National competitions, World Cups, the Olympics, and beyond.
