Key Responsibilities

• Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electro-pneumatic systems, photoelectric sensors, and PLC-controlled machinery to minimize production downtime.
• Systems Maintenance: Manage and repair facility-wide systems including steam, high-voltage electrical distribution, gas, and compressed air.
• Preventative Maintenance (PM): Execute rigorous PM schedules on specialized food processing and packaging equipment.
• Schematic Mastery: Interpret complex blueprints and electrical schematics to resolve equipment failures at the root cause.
• Compliance: Maintain a sanitary and safe work environment in accordance with food manufacturing regulations and OSHA standards.
• Operational Support: Lead equipment teardowns and setups during production changeovers to ensure peak efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience (Preferred).
• Industry Background: Minimum 5 years specifically within food manufacturing (Preferred).
• Technical Skills: Expert-level proficiency in PLC troubleshooting , welding, and high-voltage electrical systems.
• Job Stability: A proven track record of long-term employment and reliability.
• Physicality: Ability to stand, bend, and lift in a fast-paced, noisy manufacturing environment.
• Availability: Must be able to work the 4:30 AM shift and Saturdays.

Education & Skills

• Technical Certifications: Electrical, Welding, or HVAC certifications preferred.
• Skills: PLC Programming, Electro-Pneumatics, Industrial Electricity, Blueprint Reading, Steam Systems, Preventative Maintenance, OSHA Compliance, Welding/Fabrication.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Technical Trade School preferred.
