This contract supports the United States Army Fires Center of Excellence at Fort Sill by delivering comprehensive Information Technology (IT) and Knowledge Management services across a complex, mission-critical training environment. The scope includes sustaining secure, resilient, and adaptable IT infrastructure spanning NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and closed restricted networks, enabling continuous support for classrooms, simulations, mission rehearsals, and operational systems. The Contractor provides on-site technical expertise to manage enterprise systems, rapidly provision and reconfigure network environments, and ensure compliance with Army cybersecurity policies, while delivering responsive troubleshooting and uninterrupted support to military, civilian, and contractor personnel.
The IMO – Information Technologist (IT) I – Information Management Officer (IMO) shall provide Tier 1–2 technical support within a mission-critical United States Army environment at Fort Sill, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of end-user systems and information management services across the enterprise. The Contractor shall possess an associate’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or three (3) years of relevant experience in desktop support or network administration, along with a minimum of two (2) years supporting users in a Microsoft Windows-based environment. Contractor personnel shall obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance and all required Computing Environment (CE) certifications applicable to the operating systems and security tools supported throughout contract performance. The IMO shall support Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 environments, including device and endpoint management through Microsoft Intune and applications such as Outlook, OneDrive, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint, Teams, Viva Engage, and Access, while maintaining proficiency as systems evolve. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving desktop hardware and software issues, performing PC imaging and workstation deployments, configuring connectivity and remote printing, and supporting automated email systems. The IMO shall diagnose and resolve issues both remotely and on-site, manage user accounts, passwords, and file permissions in accordance with Army cybersecurity policies, and demonstrate a strong understanding of TCP/IP and LAN/WAN/Internet connectivity. The Contractor shall communicate technical information clearly and concisely to users at all levels, ensuring efficient resolution of issues while maintaining operational readiness and compliance with Army standards.
Requirements:The IMO – Information Technologist (IT) I – Information Management Officer (IMO) supporting a United States Army environment shall meet all requirements necessary to perform Tier 1–2 technical support in compliance with DoD cybersecurity workforce standards. The Contractor shall possess an associate’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in desktop support, systems administration, or network administration, with at least two (2) years supporting users in a Microsoft Windows enterprise environment. The Contractor shall meet DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II requirements and possess an active CompTIA Security+ (Security+) certification prior to performance, maintaining certification currency throughout the contract period. An active Secret Clearance is required, and personnel must maintain eligibility for the duration of the contract.
The IMO shall demonstrate technical proficiency in supporting Windows 10/11 operating systems and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including device and endpoint management using Microsoft Intune or equivalent tools. The Contractor shall have working knowledge of Active Directory for user and group management, permissions administration, and access control, as well as a strong understanding of TCP/IP and general LAN/WAN/Internet connectivity troubleshooting. Experience shall include PC imaging, workstation deployment, remote support tools, printer configuration, and enterprise email systems such as Microsoft Outlook and Exchange. The IMO shall apply cybersecurity best practices in accordance with Army and DoD policies, including account provisioning and deprovisioning, password management, and file permission controls, while maintaining required Computing Environment (CE) certifications for supported systems.
The Contractor shall possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues both on-site and remotely in a timely and efficient manner. The IMO shall communicate technical information clearly and concisely to non-technical users at all levels of the organization and demonstrate effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Additionally, the Contractor shall be capable of operating in a dynamic, mission-critical Army environment, managing multiple incidents or service requests simultaneously, and maintaining a high level of system availability, user productivity, and overall mission readiness.
