City/StateNorfolk, VAWork ShiftThird (Nights)Overview:Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a General Maintenance Mechanic (3rd Shift )Position Status: Full-time/40 hours per week , Rotating shiftPosition defined as: Essential PersonnelPosition Location: Sentara Norfolk General Hospital (SNGH)Norfolk, VirginiaPosition Summary:Performs general maintenance as directed and as necessary on all aspects of building structure and systems to include floors, walls, ceilings, lighting HVAC, transportation systems, mechanical electrical, plumbing and other items.Refrigerant Recovery certification Type I and Type II preferred or Universal preferred.Standard Working Hours: Primary shift schedule: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM. Secondary shift schedule: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM.Mission Essential Personnel.Training provided during 2nd shift (2:30 PM- 11:00 PM) and/or 1st shift (7:00 AM- 3:30 PM).
