Dock Worker

We are currently hiring dock worker for large manufacturer! Job title: dock worker. Pay rate: $17. Schedule (days and time): 8am-4:30pm.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Efficiently and safely load and unload cargo from trucks and other vehicles using equipment like forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy, damage, and defects. Document any issues and prepare them for the correct destination.
• Accurately track inventory by recording shipments, maintaining stock levels, and reporting any discrepancies.
• Safely operate a variety of dock equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and cranes.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, wear personal protective equipment (PPE), and report any potential hazards or incidents to supervisors.
• Collaborate with other team members, logistics staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and meet deadlines.
• Keep the loading dock, walkways, and storage areas clean, organized, and free of debris.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 6 months experience picking and packing in a manufacturing, or warehouse, environment.
• Ability to stand, squat, and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
