Nautilus Construction Construction Estimator Kennebunk, ME | Full-Time | Built for the coast. Made for Maine. Nautilus Construction is a residential construction company based in Wells, ME, specializing in custom builds, renovations, and additions throughout southern Maine. We're detail-driven, client-focused, and built on integrity. We're looking for a Construction Estimator to support our preconstruction process -- from initial plan review through bid submission. What You'll Do Assist lead estimator with detailed material takeoffs from plans and specs Solicit and track subcontractor and supplier pricing Maintain bid files, vendor quotes, and cost documentation Perform field measurements and site visits to verify scope Enter and maintain cost data in Excel and Google Sheets Support preparation of proposals and bid packages Attend preconstruction meetings; document notes and follow-ups Assist with change order pricing and budget trackingSupport project handoffs from preconstruction to field team What You Need 1-3 years in construction estimating, takeoffs, or project coordination Working knowledge of residential construction methods and sequencing Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google Sheets Strong attention to detail -- manage multiple bids at once Ability to read architectural plans and specifications Excellent written and verbal communication Self-motivated and able to work independently Valid driver's license + reliable transportation for site visits Preferred: Experience with Hover, Bluebeam, or similar estimating/CRM software Background in framing, finish carpentry, or general contracting Familiarity with Maine building codes and permitting Associate's or Bachelor's in Construction Management Salary & Benefits Full-time, Monday-Friday Primarily office-based in Kennebunk, ME with occasional site visits Benefits to be discussed Nautilus Construction is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
