Job Description

Responsibilities Primary point of contact for investigative site, providing contextual information on clinical trials and connecting stakeholders. Align, train, and motivate site staff and principal investigator on the goals of the clinical trial program, protocol, and patient treatment principles, ensuring a trusted partnership. Conduct site evaluation, training, routine monitoring, and site closure activities in compliance with protocol, monitoring plans, regulations, GCPs, ICH Guidelines, AbbVie SOPs, and quality standards. Customize site engagement strategy; gather local insights; use CRM tools to report and track progress. Connect study protocol with day‑to‑day execution; evaluate and ensure effective recruitment and retention techniques based on patient disease journey. Perform continuous risk assessment; collaborate with Central Monitoring to detect early study performance or patient safety issues; resolve site risk signals. Implement preventative and corrective action plans to mitigate risk and promote compliance. Identify and recommend new/potential investigators/sites; support from more experienced CRAs. Ensure quality of data submitted from sites; guarantee timely submission, reporting, and follow‑up for all safety events. Ensure audit and regulatory inspection readiness at all times; manage investigator payments per contract. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; health‑related preferred (Medical, Scientific, Nursing, Pharmacy). Clinically related experience, preferably in clinical research monitoring, coordination, or data management. Knowledge of therapeutic area indications; ability to understand and apply scientific concepts in clinical trials. Knowledge of local regulatory and legal requirements, ICH/GCP Guidelines, and applicable policies. Collaboration skills and ability to build cross‑functional relationships; strong planning and organizational skills. Proficiency in leveraging technology, tools, and resources to provide customer‑centric support; strong critical‑thinking and judgment. Strong interpersonal skills: written, verbal, active listening, presentation; ability to establish and maintain trusting site relationships. Integrity in accordance with AbbVie code of business conduct; self‑motivated and focused on timely, quality outcomes in a fast‑paced environment. Remote Location Remote based position. Candidates must reside in the Northeast and be willing to travel for site visits. Benefits Competitive base pay range based on job grade (range may vary).
