Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active COTA license or eligibility in the state
• Experience providing occupational therapy support in a school setting, preferred
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• A patient and compassionate approach with students of varied abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services as directed by an Occupational Therapist, following individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Assist students in developing fine motor, sensory, and functional skills to participate fully in classroom activities
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records as required by the school and federal/state guidelines
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth and inclusion
• Participate in IEP meetings, training sessions, and staff communications as needed
