PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Responsible for maintaining patient spending accounts, completing admission and discharge set ups, maintaining files for audits and Medicaid/Social Security packets.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Provide strong customer service.
* Receive and enter all deposits to patient spending accounts.
* Record all purchase transactions for patient spending accounts.
* Maintain patient files.
* Reconcile Patient Trust and Bank Accounts
* Generate Admit documents and process Admits in Medhost.
* Process discharges in Medhost.
* Work with Medicaid and Social Security on applications and renewal packets.
* Work With Patient Trust Auditors
* Census report generation and compilation.
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
* Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
* High school diploma or equivalent Required.
* Knowledge of medical billing/collections experience Required.
* Excel Spreadsheet Usage and Creation Required
* Math and Bookkeeping and basic accounting knowledge required.
* Banking or Cash handling experience Required.
